This was very helpful to see what and what not to do. I couldn't stand watching the first video as the teacher just seemed to be in a hurry, irritable and mean. I had a Spanish teacher like this in high school and it left a distaste for the language in my mouth. I was afraid to answer or ask questions because he would make students feel stupid if they were wrong or didn't understand. In the second lesson I thought it was great that the teacher would let the students fill in the gap of the teacher's sentence, or he'd let them finish his sentences for him. I also like that he had the class figure out what the definition of the key concept words were by slowing writing it out letter by letter until they guessed the correct word. The students talked so much more in the second video and the teacher was much more engaging.
