Before studying this unit, I used to teach and base all of my lessons around the material in the course books. I noticed from time to time, the classes were either a bit boring to the students, or some of the contents were outdated. I would sometimes look for some authentic materials for the students, but as this unit claimed, those materials might not be suitable for all levels of the students, and it could be stressful to the students if there weren't any Study phases.
For my future classes, I should mainly stick to our course books when teaching grammars. But from time to time, select some authentic materials which are more suitable for the students.
