This unit helped with understanding, again, the importance of Engage, Study, Activate, and how those concepts apply to receptive skills. Receptive skills include reading and listening skills. These skills compliment each other when using engage, study, activate. For example, you may use listening skills to engage the students in an interview or song clip. Then, you may follow the clip with studying and reading about the clip or interview.
