In this unit, I learned about how to plan lessons. Lesson planning is important because:
1. Its an aid to planning
2. It helps teachers to keep a target and gives teachers something to refer to during the lesson.
3. it acts a record of what the class has done and which materials have been used.
I also learned the basic principles of lesson planning (keeping it simple, writing the anticipated time of each activity in a margin, etc). Also, I learned what should be included in a lesson plan.
