In this unit, we learned about conditionals and reported speech. Conditionals are sentences containing "if", and there are five types of conditionals, zero conditional, first conditional, second conditional, third conditional and mixed conditional. The exercise in which the teacher splits up the conditional sentences and students need to match the sentences back together teaches the students sentence structure. The unit included that timing is essential when reporting speech. Teachers need to be sure to specify timing when asking students to report speech.
