In this unit, we learned about teaching new languages and techniques to teach vocabulary. It is important for students to learn the meaning, usage, word grammar, spelling and pronunciation when learning new vocabulary. We learned about what activities we can use to have students learn vocabulary in the engage stage, the study phase and the activate stage. Teachers can chose between three different structure when creating lesson plans, patchwork, boomerang and straight arrow.
