In this unit, we learned about past tenses. There are many forms of past tense including past simple, past continuous, past perfect and past perfect continuous. Past tenses follow the same pattern as present tenses with one of the differences being the forms in the auxiliary verbs. As with present tense there are many irregulars which need to be addressed by the teacher in order to avoid confusion.
