We found this unit interesting as it was a helpful review of parts of speech; we are both over thirty, out of school, and do not often have occasion to review proper parts of speech. This unit felt like a good base for us to build on in future units. We found gerunds particularly interesting as we had just never considered a verb being used as a noun. we also did not know the "three syllable rule" as it relates to comparative adjectives.
