This section helped me to think about practical ways to teaching reading and listening skills, which are important because they are mutually dependent. I learned that teaching these skills can be engaging and pop culture is especially helpful for sourcing content that will stimulate interest. I can see how these lessons can be planned in all kinds of patterns, but at the end of the day, the content needs to be interesting and engaging for students.
