I found this unit very clear and straight froward.From my experience ,lesson plans are a necessity .My biggest challenge in the past was to estimate the time needed for activities because we normally assume students are focused and will all follow instructions at the same pace.
I used to find it useful to create work groups in advance in order to have balanced groups of mixed abilities and temperaments.
I believe lack of a lesson plan can lead to bad behavior and distracted students as they lose interest .It is also important to consider students' ages and interests when creating activities .
