The videos clearly showed how and how not to conduct a lesson. In the first video, the teacher did not explain anything to the students and his mannerisms were brusque and impatient. The students clearly did not understand what he was trying to elicit from them. Instead of being flexible with his lesson plan, he was very rigid and trudged on, leaving the students behind. In the second video, he was much more engaging and polite. He took time to explain the concepts through examples and set the students at ease. They were much more willing to participate and had more fun in the lesson.
