This unit went over the five different forms of conditionals, the verb patterns for each, and why each one is used. It also talked about how to correctly translate direct speech into reported speech by changing the verbs and time words. I learned that there are different kinds of conditional sentences that use different verb patterns. Being a native English speaker, I use conditionals automatically and never had to think about how I used them before this lesson.
