This unit focuses on some more difficult grammar structures, notably modals, phrasal verbs, and the passive voice. Modals can be used to express possibility, obligation, and politeness, though not all modals apply for each. The passive voice can be used when it is not known, not important, or we don't want to express who performs an action--if we want to still include the performer of the action, we can include a "by" phrase.
