This unit covers various equipments that are available to teachers to use in the classroom. It is beneficial for teachers to become comfortable with many different aids in the classroom because they tend to help make the lessons more effective and interesting not only for the students but also the teachers. While some equipment, such as a whiteboard/chalkboard are very basic, they provide many different functions in the classroom. Effective use of equipment/aids in the classroom involves learning to use them in various functions in conjunction with each other and proper preparation on the part of the teacher. As technology continues to evolve, there are always new equipments that will be introduced to the classroom, and it is often up to the teacher to learn and practice these technologies in order to use them effectively in class and in order to be able to present the lessons to students clearly and simply.
