In this unit we covered all aspects of future tense: future simple, future continuous, future perfect, future perfect continuous and the three forms of referring to future actions that are based on present tense ('going to', present simple and present continuous). In teaching about forming the tenses, I think it will be helpful to learners to learn to identify the parts of the construction that change with each conjugation and the parts that stay the same. Eventually -- as more tenses are covered -- you can show the consistency of these "moving parts" across tenses as a guide to identifying tenses. In terms of usage, it is interesting to see the subtle differences especially between future simple and "going to" future. I discovered that among the future simple usages, there seems to be a common thread of spontaneity, distance in time or abstraction; while "going to" usages are more immediate and definite.
