In this unit, it was emphasizing the importance of speaking and writing. As the unit proclaims that for learners of the English language doesn't get to practice their writing as much as they need it in their every day lives. For instance, as adults who works in the office whether it is typing an email or writing a formal business letter you are require to write majority of the time. In class you are listening and reading more of the time more than you are able to practice your writing. Both are important but writing usually requires more practice and is more difficult than speaking and reading.
