This unit discusses teaching speaking and writing as productive skills. Some teachers believe that students will do what the teacher asks them to do when practicing speaking, as this is a class requirement. However, this unit tells us that students will be more willing to communicate and are more likely to come up with creative language if teachers try to create the need and desire, in the students, to communicate. I also learned about useful games that I can apply to my classes. I myself enjoy games very much, so these activities can make my classes more engaging and interesting.
