This unit covers on classroom management, allowing me to pinpoint the improvements I need to make in a teaching environment, and hopefully my English teaching career. This is a very extensive unit that teaches me to observe both myself, students and the classroom to ensure an environment for effective teaching. The key learnings for me would be from the sections on giving instructions, managing behavioural issues and developing rapport where these soft skills can be applied to any training environment currently I need for my job. Teaching English wise, I do expect differences in handling students from a younger age, hence patience is far more challenged if class is not managed properly.
