The unit demonstrated the importance of lesson planning which are: an aid to planning, a working document, a record. Basic principle of lesson planning are; keep it simple, structure it, write an anticipated time for each activity, give the lesson a smooth flow and keep it flexible. An effective lesson plan should include: learner objectives, personal aims, language points, learning aids, anticipated problems, procedure, phase, timing, interaction, class level, number of students, date/time, student/teacher's names.
