This unit taught me on how to organise and manage the class and hence having a relaxed learning environment for the student while maintaining good discipline. For instance, students seating arrangement may affect the flow of the lesson. As a teacher, i think it is important to know students' personalities and their relationships with one another before deciding on where to let them sit. For example, pairing a better student and slightly lacking student to sit together would help the lacking student to study better and hence improving their english. Apart from the students seating arrangement, on teacher's part, i have to use simple english language and gesture to give them instruction and explanation. The key point is for the students to understand instruction and situation. Thus, it ensures that the students are learning english language in clear and right direction without any doubts.
Besides that, In learning language, students' talking time have to be more than teacher's talking time to ensure they are actually practicing the language that has been learnt so far. On the other hand, teacher's talking time is mainly for giving instructions and providing natural and correct english to students. The more time the students have the opportunities to practice their english in class the better. As i could tell whether they are practicing english in the right way or not and i would be able to correct them in the class.
