As an American living in a French-speaking city, this lesson was quite valuable to me both from the perspective of a future English tutor and as a current student in French. It helped me reflect on those qualities that I feel I've developed as my strength in French has progressed, as well as those that I feel I can continue to develop. I think that thinking of it from this perspective has helped me begin to formulate how I can approach future students/pupils.
