This unit touches on the english language productive skills namely speaking and writing skills. These skills are as equally important as the receptive skills as they help students to communicate. To improve students' accuracy and fluency, different approaches are used to guide them. Accuracy activities usually happen in study phase whereby they are controlled to ensure accurate reproduction of language whereas fluency activities encourage the students to speak more with their own words creatively. Teaching them to write is also equally important as it helps them to be able to produce an accurate, grammar mistake free writings. Creative writings should be encouraged to engage students' interests as it will give them sense of completion and pride.
