This unit is about teaching productive skills - speaking and writing. Accuracy concentrates on students producing correct language whereas fluency activities concentrate on students being creative with language. Accuracy activities are controlled by the teacher but fluency activities are controlled by the students. There are techniques to encourage students to speak such as pair and group work plus controlled and guided practice.
