In this unit I learnt which structure to use to describe past events. Storical sentences,description of some incident or some visit take the same structure to be described. Also that telling about some action going on in the past at some specific time takes past continuous tense. I derived that if two actions took place in the past,then to describe the first one past perfect tense is used.All the four situations are useful in practical life generally.
