This chapter covers a general lesson of present tenses. I believe that this lesson could be made clearer by including explanations in 'Typical student errors/mistakes'. For example, on page 9, under the 'Typical student errors/mistakes' portion, I was immediately able to make these sentences grammatical; however, I took a while attempting to sum up an explanation as to why these sentences are ungrammatical. I think even a short explanation is necessary because these are typical errors/mistakes students make, thus, students would probably ask about these sentences often, and as an ESL teacher, I would like to know the best way to answer. Also on the 'Typical student errors/mistakes' on page 11, I was confused because those sentences seem correct to me, but I ended up having to google a more thorough explanation of present perfect continuous tense. My suggestion is that the present perfect continuous section should be longer as it is the more difficult of the four tenses to grasp. Overall, I believe that because this is a more confusing chapter for both teachers and students, this chapter should be longer and more elaborate.
