This unit went over the basics of speaking and writing. They are the productive skills of a language. They have different challenges than reading and listening from the previous section mainly because rather than just taking in and understanding these skills require replication. Students have to not only understand the language but be able to communicate with another person and BE understood. This unit gave examples and reasons for different teaching ideas, which I found helpful.
