After completing this unit I have a knowledge of the receptive skills - reading and listening. I can identify the difference between reading and listening for purpose and reading and listening for entertainment. I understand the multiple ways we read and listen such as, predicting, scanning and skimming etc, and how they can be used differently. As well as how to structure a lesson in order to teach this.
