This unit was very useful in determining how best to teach vocabulary and grammar. It was also a very helpful review of the ESA structure, including reviews on patchwork and boomerang methods of teaching that I anticipate will be useful in the classroom. I also found myself imaging how I might create engage phases for different vocabulary units, and what types of materials I may bring from home that could help create engaging lessons.
