Spring boarding off of unit 4 on present tenses, getting an idea of past tenses was not as difficult since I already had an understanding of the structures of simple, continuous, perfect, and perfect continuous. Applying this knowledge made things a lot easier to further develop my concept of tenses. I believe that starting with present tenses was definitely a good idea, since conjugating 'to be' or 'have' added an extra thing to think about and made it a bit more challenging to wrap my head around. The test for this unit was also far more complex in my eyes, and made me second guess a lot of my understanding of the content. Regardless of my results on the test, I intend on reviewing this chapter more in the future to ensure I have full control of the material.
