This unit introduces how to teach listening and reading as receptive skills. They are equally important. How much and how accurately can students understand the content, depend on not only their language skill level, but also their knowledge of the culture behind the languages. Therefore, I very much value culture study in my classes. I would provide students with some culture-related information when studying a new topic. This unit provides good example of ESA class activities that I can use in my class.
