I didn't really know much about the twelve tenses and their forms taught by the EFL before this unit so I have taken many notes. Notetaking seems to be an active way for me to learn and to retain the information. Being so new to the terminology I cannot say I am fully competent as yet in the use of the present simple, present continuous, present perfect and present perfect continuous as yet. However, I feel a grasp of the structure of my native English Language is beginning to take shape. I hope to come back to my notes throughout the course.
