n Unit 15, I learned about the various methods of assessing students. Three types of tests and evaluations are placement, progress, and achievement. The placement test is used for placing students in the correct class for their ability. The progress test is given after the teacher has covered academic material. A written test or game can be used for a progress test. Also, the achievement test, which is a form of the internal test, can be given at the end of a course during a school year.
