In this Unit I learnt about receptive skills: reading and writing, and speaking and listening, and how to adjust the topic, eg. through pre teaching vocabulary or carefully selecting the contents of the teaching. As a teacher it is useful to trust and benefit from the students´ ways to listen and understand larger concepts, eg. through predictive skills, scanning, skimming or seeking for detailed information, but still to narrow down the learning target depending on the level of the class.
