This unit briefly and sufficiently introduces eight teaching methods, with some going back centuries ago to the most recent and preferably used methods of teaching.
The method that is highlighted the most, the ninth method, is the ESA (Engage-Study-Activate) technique. In this unit, the ESA method is broken down and each part is explained intensely and thoroughly, in addition to providing a number of activities and ideas for each stage of the ESA method, and also providing three lesson examples with three different flows.i.e. straight arrow lessons, boomerang lessons, and patch work lessons.
Moreover, the unit describes what feedback is, making clear what its aim is, showing a number of forms for giving feedback, when and how to give feedback, and presenting a variety of correction techniques.
The unit is ended with an appendix; a guidance for teachers for lesson planning, which I personally found quiet useful, as it is a reference for tips, if ever the teacher might need some mental refreshers.
