This unit gave a brief overview of common tests, which students take – placement, diagnostic, progress (the one I prepare the most) or external. Especially I liked the overview of the Cambridge tests which are the most popular here. The information about the testing was very brief, not much useful for me. Nice for me was thinking about the usage of testing; next to the informative use, I can see at my work that the motivation for studying grows as the testing time is approaching.
