Unit 14: course book and materials: From this unit I learnt the balance between when its good to use course materials and when it's not, for example I would have never taken in to account the fact that material could be outdated which could cause a multitude of problems for the students. Also I like the idea of using authentic materials so the students have a real life example of what we are teaching so they can learn the theory and then see the reality.
