This was a very helpful lesson for me. I have heard of other methods, like PPP, so the ESA was interesting to learn about. It seems easier for beginner teachers to understand and apply. The flexibility in the ESA methodology is also something that appeals to me. This flexibility allows me to vary the size and scope of a lesson based on time and ability levels. Also, the advice on correcting students was nice to know.
