In this unit, I had the opportunity to learn about a variety of pronunciation techniques and phonemes. I found the content on phonetic scripts in particular to be incredibly difficult, as I was unfamiliar with the content and was not provided with a sufficient number of examples of the phonemes being used in sentences. Going forward, I will have to refer to other resources to better develop my understanding, as what was provided was not detailed enough for me. While I did appreciate some of the methods oriented around teaching different sounds to be beneficial, overall, I did not particularly enjoy this unit given the aforementioned issue that I had with it.
