Here Below you can check out the feedback (for one of our units) of one of the 16.000 students that last year took an online course with ITTT!

In this unit, I had the opportunity to learn about the present simple, the present continuous, the present perfect, and the present perfect continuous. I found the explanations of the differences between the present perfect and the present perfect continuous in particular to be helpful in bettering my understanding of how to accurately help students distinguish between them. By using a phrase like, "She has completed the task," I can contrast it with a phrase similar to, "He has been working for five years," and emphasize that the latter is an example of the present perfect continuous given its incorporation of "been." I could then emphasize that the lack of "been" in the first example is representative of the present perfect. I believe that comparisons like these can be helpful toward a better understanding of the material and I hope to be able to use the information presented as a reference when needed.
