Having the ability and skill to create lesson plans can be of benefit to the teacher and students. As a new and inexperienced teacher, having the skill to plan a well organized, coherent, and an overall well thought out lesson, helps the teacher to be better prepared for the classroom. During the planning process, the teacher is able to create a sort of blue print or roadmap to what will eventually take place in the classroom during the teaching process. Planning ahead is a great way for the teacher to anticipate any issues or questions that may arise during the lesson. This means, that although the teacher has created a map by listing what will take place in the classroom during the lesson, this map has to also provide detours (solutions) for unexpected roadblocks, events or difficulties that may arise during the lesson. While teaching the topic at hand, it is essential to both the teaching and learning processes that the teacher is able and prepared to manouver classroom hurdles accordingly. As a result, the students will benefit from a well orchestrated lesson that will hopefully ease the lesson enhance their capacity to learn the material.
