The purpose of this Unit is to help future TEFL teachers understand the importance the teacher/student relationship is to a success of the teaching and learning process. If, as teachers, we can better understand our students' state of mind during the learning process, that will make way for the use of better teaching techniques which in turn can make the difference between an intimidating classroom and one that allows students to learn successfully.
