Unit 3 held a lot of really great information about course development, and different types of tests that can be used to gather different types of information about students. The unit included information on different types of courses that can be developed, such as courses which follow a set pattern of increasingly difficult grammar points, or courses that present more situational English that is more relevant to the needs of the students. The different types of tests for gathering different information also seemed to be an important section, as monitoring your students' progress and knowing what to expect from them in each unit of the syllabus is important information as a teacher.
