As an introduction to the course, I feel that unit 1 gives a good understanding of what the following units will include and provides a clear and concise outline. The unit gives a lot of important information, for example; the objectives section clearly states what skills and knowledge will be gained through the course, the general terminology section gives an excellent list of initialisms that are used in the world of ESL/EFL, and the prospects section gives clear examples of what an ESL/EFL teacher can expect when looking for a job.
