This unit deals with teaching vocabulary and language functions, as well as introducing grammatical structures.
We learn how to select vocabulary, what students need to know, and techniques for vocabulary teaching. There is a review of the ESA--an ESA lesson for vocabulary teaching. Then, the unit deals with introducing grammatical structures. Finally, the unit talks about teaching language functions.
Reviewing and practicing the ESA for lessons is always useful. One can even use the ESA method at the workplace, on tasks that one has to complete in the workday. I am very comfortable with this method because it is very logical.
