This unite was about intonation, where does our voice raise and fall. This is good for the students to know when they want to ask questions or make statements, whether their voice should raise and fall, or fall and raise, or be flat. It also gives ideas on how to practice this. There are also different places to put stress in a sentence, and it's there to make a point. There was also a small section about sound joining. So depending on where you are from and you're dialect, you are most likely to come across this during you're lifetime. It was about linking words together, sound dropping, sound changing and also adding extra letter. The symbols are something most of us come across at school but don't give to much attention to it, since it's not really used after school life, so it was something I had to look at extra, to try to memories it. It also gave two good pictures of the month and where everything is. This is good to know, so it will be easier to teach the students where in the mouth the pressure needs to be, or where the tongue needs to be places. I think one of the best method of learning is by showing very clearing you're self on how to pronounce the symbol and have them copy it. There are also six different way of manner and place of articulation that the unite mentions.
