This unit gave a brief overview of the course and what the expectations are--both what I can expect to learn and also what is expected of me. It gave me an excitement in realizing that at the end of the course, I will have more resources and tools to teach and a deeper understanding of how to teach English to young learners and how to do it well. I am excited to dive into the different units that were briefly described in this unit and excited for how my ability as an English teacher can grow through this course!
