I have found the TEFL course to be enriching and well structured. For me personally I have found the most value in the clear and concise explanations of grammar structures. It has given me what I need to be able to teach most of it with confidence. Furthermore it has also provided me with well structured notes that I can refer back to at any time should I be uncertain.
In terms of general teaching style, skills and classroom management the course gave me a broader perspective of things that need to be kept in mind while at the same showing me that what I have been doing thus far is correct and efficient. I have also learned a few new ways of dealing with difficult students and how to make the most of the time I have available during lessons.
I have found the lesson planning template to be a very helpful tool and I have used it for my own classes since starting the course with great results.
I believe that completing this course has helped me to build and improve on skills I have acquired during the years of teaching and will benefit me greatly in my future teaching career.
