A teacher needs to plan ahead of his/her class in order to have a good flow the class. Having a lesson plan would help the teachers to be flexible in the class. The lesson plan has a lot of important functions first, it is an aid for planning especially on what the teacher wants to let her students learn at the end of each class. Second, it is considered as a working document that helps the teacher to keep on her target and serves as a reference or guide. Lastly, it is a record of what was done inside the class. A lesson plan should be simple and clear, flexible, not scripted, has structure, anticipated activities that fit students' need. Even with the lesson plan, a teacher must be organized to make sure that the class will go smoothly, here are the things that should be considered in order to have a good flow of the class: check the lesson plan and run through it, check the materials and equipment needed if it is working, arrange the materials that you will need, clean the board beforehand, and be ready to talk to students once they arrive in the classroom. A lesson plan should include the following: Learner objective/s Teacher aim/s Language point/target Materials/teaching aid Anticipated problems Procedure Phase Timing Interaction Class level Number of students Teacher and observer's name
