"Going to future" and future simple are two different part of Future tense. The difference between the two is that when you use "going to" it states that there is a decision made before the time of speaking while future simple, the decision has just been made at the time of speaking. Future tense has almost the same grammatical pattern with the Present and Past tenses. As a teacher, we must explain to the learners the usage of each structure. Future tense is a complex area of the English language, thus explaining it with examples will enable the learners to understand it clearly. Future simple: I will go to Aeon mall tomorrow. Future continuous: The train will be arriving at 7 o' clock in the evening. Future perfect: I will have taken the course at the end of the month. Future Perfect Continuous: I will have been walking for 5 hours. Be going to: I am going to France next month.
