Lesson planning is important--nay, essential--to having a smooth class. Breaking down what to teach, which order to teach, how to teach, activities to do, and predicting complications that arise (brilliant!) are very thorough and immensely helpful. This is probably the most reassuring of the sections in terms of how to properly do the job. How can someone go wrong with a checklist (ranging from making sure equipment works to chatting to students), a detailed lesson plan to fill in, and available worksheets. I feel as though I've digested more, but I have to try and get my stride as an independent teacher. Hopefully the next eleven sections will do the trick.
